Life in Tokyo, Maybe?

For the last three weeks on and off I have been in Tokyo for our mom but also for our cafe opening. I have been touring cafe spots in every possible option. Honestly its something that I kind of forgot how difficult and time consuming it can be. I have been driving between Shibuya, Shimokitazawa and Shinjuku in an attempt to find the right place while trying to keep up making our videos as well has meeting with our partners.

I am happy to be as busy as I am but man is it a tiring life.

I also realized relatively quickly that when we do make the move to Kanto and start working in the mega city, I REALLY need a place to take a step back and decompress from all the overstimulation that Tokyo provides.

There are SO much people weather they are resident or tourist, navigating the streets is a olympic sport in it’s own.

I think the biggest mistake I made this trip was doing too much. I normally take the night to walk around away from people and decompress but I didn’t. We had meetings some night until 2:00AM which normally would have been okay but I must be getting older.

So with me having to return in July, my plan is to ensure to take a few hours out of the day to decompress, relax and just enjoy my time there. But of course ensure to be as productive as I can.

Life is about balance and I need to remember this.
